RMK4 and RMK4KIT Evaluation Boards with AM4096
AM4096 on a PCB with all necessary components and a magnet, delivered in an antistatic box. RMK4 has all outputs available, by default it is configured for 5 V supply voltage and with 12 bit resolution. RMK4 is evaluation board, not suitable for mass production. RMK4KIT is a custom made demo kit consisting of RMH06 magnetic actuator and RMK4 PCB on acrylic base with prefabricated hole to allow the magnet to be positioned inside tolerance according to the AM4096 datasheet.
UPRG01 Programming Interface
The UPRG01 is a programming interface for use with compatible encoders from RLS. The encoders which support this functionality are the LM10 linear encoder, LM15 linear encoder, LM13 linear encoder and LM13 ring encoder. Note that a special option of the encoders must be ordered with this programmability enabled. The software allows the resolution, edge separation and count direction to be changed for both linear and ring encoders. The interface connects simply to a computer via a USB port.
UPRGAM4096 Programming Interface for AM4096
The UPRGAM4096 is a programming interface for use with AM4096 rotary magnetic encoder chip and RMK4 evaluation board. The interface allows the user via a PC to communicate and program the internal memory of the AM4096 via the I2C protocol. A simple software interface is provided to allow easy adjustment of the available parameters as well as providing a graphical display of the position information and status of the encoder chip. The interface connects simply to a computer via a USB port.
RLX40i Analogue Interpolator IC
The monolithic CMOS integrated circuit converts the input sine and cosine signals, as well as the analogue reference signal into digital signals with adjustable subdividing factor (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10). The reference signal pulse width is selectable between 90° and 180° electrically.

IT Installation tool for Artos™ rings
A special installation tool can be supplied for easier, more reliable and time-saving installation of the readhead in relation to the ring. The installation tool limits the readhead in 6 directions (ride height/radial offset, centerline/tangential, yaw, axial/lateral, pitch and roll offset) and thus ensures precise alignment of the readhead, guaranteeing optimal performance. A dedicated mounting tool is required for each SAR ring to adjust the diameter of the ring. Please check the part number diagram to select the correct installation tool for the selected ring.
