RLS, a leading global supplier of high-performance encoders, is launching the AksIM-4™ Dual Concentric off-axis rotary absolute magnetic encoder, a new ultra-thin absolute encoder that integrates two absolute encoders into a single compact device, specifically designed to meet the growing integration challenges of modern robotic joints and advanced motion systems.

RLS partnered with NMITE to deliver a hands-on session for second-year BEng Integrated Engineering students, where they integrated absolute encoder technology into Raspberry Pi–based stabilisation gimbal projects, gaining real-world motion control experience.
