The first Slovenian Conference on ASICs and Semiconductors (SLO-chip 2023) was held on January 24, 2023 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana. In October 2021, the RLS team of scientists, engineers and the project manager from Mag-ID participated in the consortium partners meeting hosted by Inesc in Lisbon. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the latest results of the Mag-ID project, to strengthen the cooperation between the parties and to search for new solutions in an open discussion.

Bei einer Feier im Cankar-Zentrum in Ljubljana wurde Dora Domajnko zu Sloweniens erster weiblichen Ingenieurin des Jahres ernannt. Der Entwicklungsingenieur von RLS, einem Partnerunternehmen von Renishaw, erhielt aufgrund seiner besonderen Vorbildfunktion für junge Menschen eine Auszeichnung. Dieser Preis wurde von Let’ s Be Engineers! ins Leben gerufen, einer Initiative, die mehr junge Menschen ermutigen möchte, über eine Ingenieurslaufbahn nachzudenken.

Am 8. März 2017 hat RLS, ein internationaler Entwickler und Hersteller von magnetischen Weg- und Winkelmesssystemen, ein neues Vorführ- und Schulungszentrum für fortgeschrittene Technologien in Komenda, Slowenien, eröffnet. Die neue Einrichtung bietet eine sichere Entwicklungsumgebung, in der Kunden ihre Kenntnisse erweitern und ihr Vertrauen in den Einsatz von Präzisionsmessinstrumenten und Werkzeugen zur Prozessregelung vertiefen können.
