Yes.
Orbis for commutation (Ux output) provides both A, B, Z incremental signals and UVW commutation signals. If the UVW signals are not required, they can simply be left unconnected, while using only the A, B, and Z signals.
In both configurations, setting the zero position by pressing the two pads remains available.
