RLS was proud to participate in the 3rd Slovenian Conference on Chips and Semiconductors, SLO-Chip 2025, which took place at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Ljubljana. The event brought together leading domestic and international experts to discuss the latest advances in the design, manufacture, and testing of integrated circuits and semiconductor systems.

The conference was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty together with representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation. Minister Dr Igor Papič emphasised Slovenia’s growing role in the semiconductor industry and stated: "It can be said that microchip production has been taking place at this faculty for several decades. Slovenia cannot mass produce them, but it can utilise its knowledge potential for niche segments of chips and semiconductors. We can compete with the best here."

At SLO-Chip 2025, RLS presented its advanced magnetic encoder solutions, which contribute to precision engineering and semiconductor applications. The company also participated in the SLO-Chip Masters Competition Track. Matija Hrušovar, Development Engineer in RLS' ASIC department, represented the company in the contest, securing an impressive 2nd place with his presentation: Development of a Dedicated Integrated Circuit Test System. We are incredibly proud of Matija’s achievement in the contest. His work reflects the innovation and technical expertise that we encourage at RLS.

RLS thanks the organisers of SLO-Chip 2025 for creating a platform that promotes collaboration and technological progress. The company remains committed to advancing precision motion control technologies and looks forward to further innovation in this area.
