Linear voltage output
The angular position is converted into digital position information. The digital information is then generated from a built-in 10 bit D/A converter. The number of steps is always fixed to 10 bit over one rotation (period) of 360°. By changing the period to 180° the number of steps will therefore be 9 bit for each rise to from V1 to V2.
The linear output voltage is sawtooth shaped and lies within thresholds V1 and V2.
