P201 USB encoder interface
Overview
Introduction
The P201 is a single channel USB encoder interface suitable for use with a wide variety of 5 V rotary and linear encoders. It allows encoders to be easily interfaced and powered from a PC using only a USB cable.
The P201 is available in 2 versions:
- P201-9Q supporting incremental encoders and
- P201-9S supporting absolute SSI encoders
With a change to the pin-out, the P201 interface can also be used with Renishaw encoders (www.renishaw.com/encoders).

NOTE - YOU SHOULD INSTALL THE P201 SOFTWARE BEFORE CONNECTING THE P201 INTERFACE.
To install the P201 display software download the P201_Software zip file. Extract setup.exe and run. You can then connect the P201 USB encoder interface. Within the software you can set the resolution + display options for the encoder.
